Nu-Heat North East - Coronavirus (COVID-19 Update)

With the situation changing rapidly within the United Kingdom, we are finding questions from both Agents and Customers regarding Nu-Heat Service and Breakdown coverage during this difficult time.


The health and wellbeing of our staff, agents, customers and suppliers is of paramount importance to us and is always at the forefront of our decision making.


Current UK Government advice is:


if you are suffering from a persistent dry cough, or have high temperature, you should self-isolate for 7 days


Customer Information:


Whilst we understand that the risk to engineers is low, particularly with government  advice regarding regular handwashing,  we need to mitigate this further, to protect both engineer and customer.


From today, we will be asking customers if they or anyone in the property is self-isolating due to the Coronavirus. Should they respond that they are, we will recommend that the appointment be rescheduled until after they recover.


We will contact customers 30-60 minutes before arrival, We will ask you the following questions "is anyone in the property self-isolating due to coronavirus?" - if they respond that they are, we recommend the appointment be rescheduled until after they recover.


Vulnerable customers who are self-isolating will be risk assessed and the decision will me made on whether to attend on the emergency of the work required.
